HELP! I’M ALIVE (3AM THOUGHTS) 

Greetings to the esteemed residents of the earth,

I can see you going about your days with much care and worry. I wonder where do your priorities lie? I watch you in your endeavors and decision making and I think to myself, how do they do that? How do they know what’s important to them? How do they survive in their systems? How do they choose what to become and what not to become? 

I see your longing. Your dreaming. Your hoping. You are trying tooth and nail to achieve something and I wonder why? What gives you so much passion? 

There’s so much you don’t know but there’s so much you know. Knowledge is infinite yet some pride themselves with knowing more. Does knowing more become a contrast in itself and to yourself? A wise man was asked, if he believed in coincidences and he said that coincidence doesn’t exist, not just metaphorically but quite literally. He said look at its root word, coincide, meaning coming together with a purpose whereby coincidence wants you to believe there’s no purpose to it. Was it for no reason? He proceeded to give an example with ignorance, where the root word is ignore meaning to willingly disregard whereby ignorance brings the aspect of unknowing that you’re unknowing. Then again what’s the point of having this knowledge? You intrigue me.

Look at you. Constantly running around to be on time and updating your calendars and setting times for your meetings. Interesting. Someone recently asked ‘what is time’. Time lost is never recovered. So is it the real resource? What do you do with it? You trade it in for money. What do you do with the money?You are within time. Is there a point where you can be outside time? It almost feels like time is a tunnel. Is there a place or a point outside the tunnel? “Eternity!” Someone said, eternity is the place or point outside time. I wonder what that’s like.

I’ve watched you and watched you and watched you until someone asked me, “what do you want from life?” I stopped in my tracks and gasped. You can perceive me? Do you mean I am an active participant of life on earth and not just a mere observer with opinions?

 Anyways hold that thought, I have 4 hours left of sleep and if I continue this chain of thought I will be late for work in the morning.
