AS A MAN THINKETH; SO IS HE

I use to wonder why it is that all these theories about manifestation, prayer(regardless of religion), universal laws, angel numbers, tarot readings, astrology etc had almost similar effect towards different people who believed in them. 

If I believe a tarot reading/ my manifestation /prayer/charm/ law/angel number (you get the vibe) , that I will have a brand new car, eventually I get it. How come they all work and if they do why not do either;or?

You see life is spiritual. Things we experience in the contextual stems from your spirit and mind. Hence  that becomes your reality.

Now the Bible agrees that anything a man sets his mind to shall come to pass. The sheer will and Faith of a man is power itself to do anything.

“And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.”

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.”

“So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.”

James 1:6 NKJV

“As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.””

Those are but a few. 

So now we agree that what you set your mind to, you can achieve. Now the real  question is why not practice either; or . Why just settle for one? 

Because only one gives you security!

When we pray/attract/manifest etc things from different sources we only view them from our perspective to possess it. We never see the bigger picture of all that it is tied to. 

For examples: Let’s say it’s a car. I pray to possess it without seeing all other costs coming with it like servicing and fuel. I don’t regard my ability to take care of it or to actually handle it. The thing is I just really want it. When it comes is when I start seeing how much of a baggage owning a car is. 

The thing we crave most can become our down fall when all other aspects ,that we cannot think of, are not ‘perfected’.

No one can duplicate or copy  a blessing directly from God. It comes PERFECTLY! Such that if you pray for it, you yourself begin to change in regards to it. In other words, you begin to be prepared for it. Hence, prayer changes the one who prays.How you perceived you’ll receive it begins to change into a God-ordained gift of what you asked for. In other words, your plan changes into God’s plan. You begin to see His plan in accordance to what you ask for and obviously to His will. 

God can see the bigger picture, you can’t. God can see all aspects you can’t possibly think of. He perfects every aspect. From the minute details to changing you, to become the person who will handle the gift. 

This is why I strongly discourage just manifesting & any other form at that because you may receive exactly what you manifest, yet you might not experience it as you thought you would. The mind is very powerful yet it cannot imitate God’s favour and perfection. A blessing is receiving what you wanted in perfection. That is why people say that they receive more than what they prayed for. This is because when they prayed they did not see all this other things that would come with what they prayed for. Once they see them and how (because of God’s favour and hand upon their lives)they are able to handle it, they are in awe. It becomes an answered prayer to perfection just like our God.

This is why believing in Him is so important. It always starts from the mind.
