RECAP OF 2023
MY 2023 My year can be summarised by the word “Reflection”. I have spent most days reflecting on how I’ve lived my life and that’s partly why I started the blog, to put some thoughts down and lay them to rest. I dug through most things that have happened and situations that I’ve been in until I finally found myself. I finally saw me. Through the pile of dirt under the rug, the walls built and the shattered glasses, I found that I was in fact not alone. I never have been! I just never let him in. He always fought with me but he went beyond what I could’ve done for myself. He pursued me. He waited for me.He listened to me. He simply loves me. And I fell in love. Or should I say I grew in love. A safe love. A kind love. A sure love. The kind that made me see myself. The kind that made me feel perfect with all imperfections. The kind that made me confident.
